LIMP BIZKIT To Broadcast Concerts To Movie Theaters
July 19, 2002LIMP BIZKIT are reportedly thinking about broadcasting concerts by satellite to movie theaters, following a similar move by KORN. The band's management company The Firm said LIMP BIZKIT and another client, STAIND, could use satellite relays for show and for record launch events as well.
Last month's transmitted concert by KORN at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom was seen live by about 6,000 people in 37 mostly sold-out movie theaters around the U.S. The satellite relay was a collaboration between the band's record label, Epic, and the Regal chain of movie theaters.
